How I actually use AI at work - and where I don't

A few weeks ago I left a comment on a Faster Than AI post. Then I became the interview.
Its author, Jen A. Aye, and I talked about how I actually use AI at work - which quickly turned into the more interesting conversation: where I don't use it.
Like how I built a workflow that auto-drafted replies to every email that hit my inbox (sounds dreamy, I know). And then how I killed it after one day, because I'd stopped thinking - and thinking really hard is one of my core responsibilities.
We got into the rest of it too. The stuff I won't hand over (management, ideation, my own inbox) and the things I happily do, like vibe-coding internal apps with my team that have quietly become part of how we work.
What I like about Faster Than AI is that it manages to be fun to read while doing something important: helping people get to grips with AI without the hype, the fear, or the person on Instagram selling you a course.
